HANDPICKED SINGLE VINEYARD HIGHBOW HILL VINEYARD CHARDONNAY

2015 was a strong vintage in the Yarra Valley. Mild conditions in spring produced excellent fruit set and yields were good. Continuing mild conditions allowed good flavour development; it was generally dry and disease pressure was low. This fruit was hand picked in late February then whole bunch pressed and fermented in French oak barriques, about one-third new. The wine was aged in the same barrels for 10 months.
